From the Rhine-Ruhr area via the A1 autobahn (Münster / Osnabrück) to the Ahlhorner Heide junction, then continue on the A 29 to the junction
Wilhelmshaven – exit Jever / Wittmund / East Frisian Islands – continue on the
B210 towards Aurich. Turn in Wittmund or Ogenbargen to Esens / Bensersiel.
Or via the B70 or A31 Ruhr area to Leer and Aurich. From the northern or eastern federal states via Hamburg or Hanover to Bremen. Continue on the A28 and A29 to the Wilhelmshavener Kreuz – B210 to Wittmund or Ogenbargen – turn off to Esens / Bensersiel. From the southern federal states via the A7, A45, A61 or A3 in the direction of the Ruhr area or Hanover. According to the previous description according to Bensersiel / Langeoog.
Park your car in one of the guarded long-term parking spaces or in garages and enjoy your stay on the North Sea island of Langeoog. There is a general ban on motor vehicles on Langeoog!

With the island train into town
After arriving at the port of Langeoog, change to the island railway, which after a short journey takes you directly to the island train station in Langeoog-Ort.
With the carriage to the front door
At the train station, you can change to one of the small or larger carriages and have them take you to your accommodation. (If you arrive with the last ferry, we recommend booking in advance).
By train
Travel comfortably to the island by train, bus and boat: Langeoog is easy to reach from all directions. From North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony you can take InterCity trains without changing to Leer or Norden, from there you can continue by bus to the ferry terminal in Bensersiel.
From Berlin, Hanover and Hamburg you drive via Bremen to Oldenburg. From there, the NordWestBahn takes you every hour via Sande to Esens train station, and the bus continues to Bensersiel.
The NordWestBahn also takes guests from the Münsterland to the sea with the Coastal Express. The same applies here: Change in Sande to the NordWestBahn to Esens, from Esens train station on by bus to Bensersiel.

The routes Bremen – Oldenburg – Wilhelmshaven, Osnabrück – Oldenburg – Wilhelmshaven, Osnabrück – Delmenhorst – Bremen and Wilhelmshaven – Sande – Esens are operated by NordWestBahn.

By plane
By air taxi service from Harlesiel and Norden-Norddeich in just under 10 minutes, from Bremen in around 35 minutes to Langeoog. For more information, contact Langeoog Airport, phone: 04972 / 693-295. or in travel agencies. Langeoog airfield is open from the end of March to the end of October, daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
