Langeoog
The island of peace and recovery
Langeoog has a land surface of about 20 square kilometres and a sandy beach of about 14 kilometres. Langeoog is part of the East Frisian islands and lies off the coast of East Frisia. Parts of the island and the Wadden Sea around the island belong to the national park Lower Saxon Wadden Sea (Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer).
